I came across another book you might be insanely interested in. I started it just today, but my aunt has read it, and it changed her entire Christianity in amazing ways. From what I’ve read so far, she’s right. It’s so life-changing, you might get suspicious that it’s cultish, or not grounded in solid biblical doctrine. But countless biblical experts have scrutinized it and fount that it is dead on. The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard.

    1. Hmmmm, interesting. Looks like I’ll be making a trip to Barnes and Noble…

You have spoke my heart. I have been struggling so much with the “performance” based church. It seems all are heading that way. I have always questioned why we clap at the end of each song. I’m not at a concert. I’m there to worship the One True King, not the people “performing”. The struggle is real. The church is becoming to much like the rest of the world. They are not setting themselves apart. Thanks for this article. I now know I’m not alone.
